Warzone Caldera Clash Mode Explained

Warzone Caldera Clash is a new mode coming to the free-to-play Battle Royale to bring back a Team Deathmatch experience once again after Verdansk ’84.

Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season Two will go live in less than 12 hours, delivering a number of new modes, weapons, and cosmetics to both games.

While the beta version of Ranked mode headlines the big changes for Call of Duty Vanguard, players of Warzone will also receive a new mode for the Caldera Pacific map, bringing back the good memories of Verdansk!

Warzone Caldera Clash Mode Explained

At its core, Caldera Clash is a Team Deathmatch mode where two teams of up to 48 players will be competing against each other to reach a certain amount of kills or the most kills in a certain amount of time.

This new mode has been developed by High Moon Studios. During Caldera Clash, you will be able to play in a 4-player squad and use various power-ups and events to earn as many points as you can for your team.

In addition to Contracts, Buy Stations, and High-Value Target, there will be a new Double Point zone on the map where you can get 2x points for killing enemies! Also, Bonus Point crates will be available on various locations of the map in Caldera Clash.

During Caldera Clash, all weapons from the previous Call of Duty games (until Modern Warfare 2019) will be available for players, and you will drop onto the island with your custom loadout!

Call of Duty Warzone is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
