What Does Imslp Stand for?

IMSLP stands for International Music Score Library Project, a wiki-based source for public domain music scores, recordings, and information about musical works.

Do you have to pay for IMSLP?

Membership is not required to download almost all the files on IMSLP (except for very newly submitted files - see below), and you have access to all the features of IMSLP regardless. All Creative Commons licensed works are also downloadable without any waiting period regardless of your membership status.

Is all music on IMSLP public domain?

- The work is public domain (except for the new title page and cover) because reprinting of public domain works does not qualify for copyright.
