The USAREC headquarters, located at Fort Knox, Ky., provides the command, control and staff support to the recruiting force.

Who do Army recruiters report to?

CONUS based, soldiers-with or without family members–go to the Army Recruiting Course (ARC) TDY and return to their parent unit, outprocess, and then report to the recruiting battalion. OCONUS based, single soldiers go to the ARC TDY enroute before reporting to the recruiting battalion within 5 days of graduation.
