What Happens When You Uninstall Updates on Android?

If an app has this option it is a system app, and selecting “Uninstall Updates” will restore the version of that app that originally came with the phone (or that was included in the latest firmware update if you’ve gotten one).

Is it safe to uninstall updates?

If a smaller Windows update has caused some odd behavior or broken one of your peripherals, uninstalling it should be pretty easy. Even if the computer is booting fine, I generally recommend booting into Safe Mode before uninstalling an update, just to be on the safe side.
