What Is a Good Thread Count for Sheets

Does thread count really matter in sheets? Thread count is important, but not necessarily the most important factor when choosing bedding. So keep in mind that a surprisingly high amount of yarn doesn't always mean it's a good quality sheet.

Are high thread count indicator of quality sheets?

The yarn count is a measure of the total number of yarns or fibers in a square inch of fabric. While a large number of wires used to be a direct indicator of the high quality of the panels, today the relationship has become more complicated. In reality, more threads don't always mean better results.

How important is thread count when choosing bed sheets?

Quantity. The number of threads in the sheets is important. However, having more filaments does not necessarily mean the leaves are better. Thread count refers to the number of threads sewn per square inch of fabric. The idea that more fiber means better blade quality is usually true, but only to a degree.
