What Is a Rejected Call?

In many voice telephone networks, anonymous call rejection is a calling feature implemented in software on the network that automatically screens out calls from callers who have blocked their caller ID information.

What happens when a call is rejected?

In all cases, when you don't answer the phone, the call is sent to voicemail. The call log shows a list of recent calls incoming, missed, and rejected. ... Some phones may not display the text message rejection option until after you dismiss the call. After choosing the text message rejection option, select a text message.

Is call reject the same as blocking?

I would imagine the Reject list notifies you about the call but it gets rejected automatically (the caller gets a busy signal/message). The Block list would not even bother to tell you they're calling (the caller would just get no answer at all). Block generally means they cannot call you and you cannot call them.
