A research table is a block used to research new devices and occasionally skills. A research table is created by placing two tables next to each other, then right clicking them with a scribing tool .

What does a research table do in Rust?

It allows you to create blueprints for any item you currently have in your inventory. While blueprints require you to deposit the item the blueprint is for and cost scraps to produce, the research table enables you to craft any blueprinted item from then on – even after death.

How do you use research table in raft?

The Research Table can be used to research new items and tools through adding resources in its interface. It can be used to discover items that cannot be crafted when starting out, such as the Scarecrow and Lantern. Place researchable items (see below) in the interface slot of the Research Table and research the item.
