What is type a vent made of?
The outer casing must be made of 430 stainless steel, 0.45 mm (0.018 inch). The optional outer casing may be made of Galvalume steel, 0.45 mm (0.018 inch).
Is B vent a Category 3?
B-vent is ONLY allowed on Category 1 appliances unless the appliance manufacturer has specifically certified a particular B-vent system to be used alternatively.
