What Is Army Oer

The U.S. Army Officer Evaluation Report measures an officer’s ability to lead by example. It assesses an officer’s work ethic, mentorship ability, physical fitness level, job competencies and character. The OER helps decide if your subordinate officers advance to higher ranks.

How often do you get an OER?

Annual Report: This is quite perhaps the most common type of OER. After you have been in a duty position for 12 months, you would receive an annual report. You should always check it to make sure it is accurate.

Where can I find my army OER?

All fillable OER forms are available at the Army Publishing Directorate (APD) website and can either be ink or electronically signed, but they must be mailed to the HRC address listed above.
