Is ITIL V3 Foundation still valid?
ITIL V3 Foundation exams will be withdrawn on the 30th June 2021 – this is the last date that this exam can be taken. As the V3 Foundation will not be accepted as a pre-requisite for any of the ITIL 4 courses, if you haven’t already taken an ITIL Foundation, then our recommendation is to start now with ITIL 4.
How do I become ITIL V3 Foundation certified?
The ITIL Foundation course takes place in a classroom over two and a half days. At the end of the course, you’ll take a one-hour exam consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions and will need 26 correct answers to pass. Courses are offered through accredited training organizations and can be found on the Axelos website.
