Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract the band size from this measurement. Use this number to determine your cup size according to the table below. Example: if your ribcage measurement is 31, and your bust measurement is 37, your bra size is a 34C: 31+3=34, so 34 is your band size.

What is the smallest bra size?

Generally, the A cup is considered the smallest available but for some this is still too big and compensating with a smaller band size won’t help. If you want something that’s going to fit your form you’ll have to go down a level to an AA or even AAA cup.

Your cup size is the difference between your chest size and your bust line measurement. For example: Your bust line measurement at the fullest part of your bust is 34″ and your chest size is 32″. The difference is 2″, which means your cup size is a B cup.

Is DDD the same as F?

A DD cup = E for full figure bras, DDD = F, but if you are used to buying a standard bra that comes in cup sizes B-DD and no higher, there will be about a half cup size increase between the DD in a standard style and a DD/E in a full figure style. Some of their styles fit an even wider range of cup sizes.

The difference between the two measurements is 3 inches which is a C cup. A breast measurement 5 inches larger than the band size is a DD and a breast measurement 6 inches larger than the band size is a DDD. Some European brands do have E and F cups.
