What is Primask register?
The PRIMASK register is a 1-bit wide interrupt mask register. When set, it blocks all exceptions (including interrupts) apart from the Non-Maskable Interrupt (NMI) and the HardFault exception.
What is the Ipsr in arm?
The interrupt program status register (IPSR) contains the exception type number of the current ISR. Bit[31:6] of IPSR are reserved while Bit[5:0] are applied to the current ISR number. The exception master registers disable the handling of exceptions by the processor.
