What Is Resea Program

The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program is a grant program for states to assist individuals receiving unemployment insurance (UI) benefits. The funds are used to connect participants with in-person assessments and reemployment services through American Job Centers.

What happens if you don't do resea?

Failure to attend can cause them to be denied for benefits for the week in which the workshop was scheduled. In your RESEA case note you should include information regarding the workshop scheduling, and also state that the claimant has been told that their UI benefits will be affected if they do not attend.

What does resea mean?

In 2015, the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program replaced the REA program providing greater access to reemployment services in addition to services previously provided under the REA program.
