What is Revolution? Revolution is a topical parasiticide that is applied to the skin of dogs six weeks of age and older and cats eight weeks of age and older to kill adult fleas and prevent flea eggs from hatching, prevent heartworm disease and protect your pet against other parasites (see below).

Do indoor cats need revolution?

The current recommendation from AHS and CAPC is for cats to take simple anti-vector illness medicine every month. Revolution is a topical parasite preventative that protects cats from parasites and fleas, and also kills flea eggs and nits.

How long does Revolution for cats last?

Once a month, simply squeeze Revolution out and onto the skin just in front of your cat or dog's shoulder blades. Two hours later, your pet will receive protection against fleas (including their eggs and larvae), heartworm, and other parasites for the next 30 days.
