What Is Somfy

Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) is Somfy’s exclusive control platform which enables users to adjust motorized interior window coverings and motorized exterior products such as awnings, rolling shutters, pergolas and screens from virtually anywhere.

What is a Somfy motor?

Somfy integrates radio technology into its motors. Thanks to RTS (Somfy Radio Technology), roller shutters, screens, awnings and blinds can now be operated using a remote control. An additional advantage of radio technology is that a single remote can be used to control multiple products. It’s so easy, it’s Somfy!

Where is somfy from?

Birth of a pioneering spirit In 1969, Somfy was founded in Cluses, France, with the visionary intuition of a group of entrepreneurs who believed that motorized systems for openings in the home would revolutionize the comfort of our living environment.
