What is good BIOS boot time?

Most modern hardware will display a last BIOS time somewhere between 3 and 10 seconds, although this can vary significantly depending on the options set in your motherboard’s firmware. Is 16 seconds BIOS time good?

14-16 seconds is not unusual. Pretty typical, actually. Starting at 14 seconds with a brand new system, and now 16, might easily be due to other drives getting connected, new services starting up, etc, etc.
