What's an Abd Pad?

SKU. DYX3501. The Combine ABD pad is a highly absorbent sterile dressing with a soft outer facing which wicks moisture away and into the cellulose core. The Combine ABD pad is designed for use where high absorbency is needed to manage heavy draining wounds.

How do you put on an ABD pad?

Roll up an ABD pad and place it right over the incision/wound. Make sure the white side (NOT the side with the blue strip) is facing the wound. This will give some additional pressure to the incision/wound and hopefully help slow the drainage.

Are abdominal pads non adherent?

Combine ABD Pads are highly absorbent, multilayer, soft, non-woven moisture barriers. All edges are sealed. Curity® Abdominal Pads feature a soft, non-woven contact layer for comfort.
