When Did Epperson Lagoon Open?

Residents of the Epperson planned development community can now take a dip in the 7.5-acre man-made lake filled with purified water and surrounded by white sand beaches. The opening of the Crystal Lagoon took place Sunday, Dec. 16 at 31885 Overpass Road.

How deep is the Epperson Lagoon?

It's an enormous 7.5 acre, 16 million gallon swimming pool that will stretch the length of five football fields. The massive lagoon is 200 feet wide and up to 8 feet deep with a series of “arms” stretching out.

Is Epperson lagoon free for residents?

In time, the lagoon will be limited to residents only, who pay a $25 a month fee per household to use the facility. Until Epperson is built out, the admission of non-residents will help supplement the costs of maintaining the lagoon.
