This means you have a max of three attempts a week at getting a sought-after raid exotic such as Vex Mythoclast. If you're not blessed by luck, you have to wait until the next weekly reset.

On average most people will get an exotic within their first 5 runs, but a large portion won't. After 10 runs this jumps up to an 89% chance of at least one exotic drop. Finally, after 20 runs there is a 99% chance you have gotten an exotic drop.
Do exotics drop randomly?
These rewards have a chance of dropping an Exotic. It isn't uncommon to obtain an Exotic this way on your climb to Legend Glory rank. Since you can't reset your Glory rank, and the chance is random, playing Glory matches just for Exotic drops is discouraged.
