When Do Grocery Stores Restock

What day of week do grocery stores restock?

Large grocery chains restock daily because of the huge volume of business. Restocking is usually done overnight or early morning in order not to disrupt operations. However, many smaller grocery stores that don’t have the sales volume to restock daily may restock on Tuesdays and Fridays.

What time do most stores restock?

Restocking at night is ideal for large items that may inconvenience shoppers or alter the store’s layout. These restocks will generally occur sometime between 10 pm, and 7 am. While some stores stick to restocks solely during the night hours, others will do small restocks during regular store hours.
