When Do Hognoses Stop Growing?

Hognoses vary in growth rate depending on the species and the sex of the snake. For Western Hognoses, the growth rate is fastest as a hatchling and slows with age. They typically reach a full size between 2 and 4 years of age. A hatchling will typically grow about 20mm a month for the first 9 months of life.
