When Does Parenting Payment Single End?

Parenting Payment Single can only be paid up until your youngest child is 8 years of age.

What is the cut off for single parenting payment?

If you're single

Your payment will reduce by 40 cents for every dollar of income you have over the gross income limit. If your income is over the cut-off point of $2,395.35 gross a fortnight, we won't pay you at all. The cut-off point increases by $24.60 per child if you have more than one child.

Do single parents get the $250 payment?

This payment is $250 per FTB recipient, not $250 per child. Carers will also get the two payments as will aged and disability support pensioners, veterans and pensioner concession/Seniors Card holders.
