How do you add dextrose to beer?

Procedure
  1. Measure the required quantity of priming sugar as determined from Table 1 (we assume here that you are using dextrose).
  2. Add to saucepan with only enough water to dissolve it (say, 200 mL).
  3. Bring to boil for a minute or two.
  4. Add to beer a few minutes prior to bottling and gently stir to distribute evenly.

Does dextrose add body to beer?

Re: Adding body to a beer

The yeast do not ferment the dextrose and the dextrose will add body and mouth feel to the beer. For a typical 5 gallon batch you may want to consider adding 8 oz of dextrose.
