How old is Glenrothes?
Glenrothes is a New Town situated in the heart of Fife. Planned in the late 40's; it's original purpose was to house miners who were to work at a newly established coal mine. Today it's well known for its amazing town art trail and green spaces.
Why does Glenrothes have so many roundabouts?
Another element that was adopted was the use of roundabouts at junctions instead of traffic lights which would allow traffic to flow freely. The town has direct dual-carriageway access to the M90 via the A92 Trunk Road.
