Will there be another Myst game?
Described by Cyan as a surrealist steampunk journey, Firmament was successfully crowd-funded via Kickstarter in mid-2019. It's tentatively scheduled for release in 2022 for all current VR platforms, but will also be available in 2D for Windows, Mac, and the PlayStation 4.
Is Myst Worth Playing 2020?
As for what version of Myst to play... I'd highly recommend realMyst Masterpiece. It works well, it has an option to do the fixed camera angles (they look like the original camera angles to me but I might be wrong), it has the bonus Age that some of the others do not, and it's absolutely beautiful.
