When You Get Kinged in Checkers?

Once a piece is kinged, the player must wait until the next turn to jump out of the king row. You win the game when the opponent has no more pieces or can't move (even if he/she still has pieces). If neither player can move then it is a draw or a tie.

Can you get Kinged in checkers?

When a checker reaches the last row of the board, he is “kinged” or “crowned” and becomes a king. A king moves the same way as a regular checker, except he can move forward or backward. To king a checker, the opponent stacks an extra checker of the same color on top of it.

Can a Kinged checker jump a king?

Checkers can not jump Kings. When moving and not jumping, Kings can only move one square at a time in any direction to an empty space along a diagonal.
