Where Do Lesser Grison Live?

Lesser grisons are found throughout most of southern South America from sea level to as high as 4,200 metres (13,800 ft) elevation. They are found in a wide range of habitats, although generally near water, including grasslands, forests, scrub, and mountain meadows.

Where are Grison found?

Members of the Mustelidae family are found around the world, including South America, where relatives of our fossil animal Trigonictis cooki live today. One species does get as far north as southern Mexico, but is also found as far south as central Peru and southeastern Brazil.

What does a Lesser grison eat?

They are usually solitary but can be found in small groups of 2 - 3 individuals. Lesser Grisons mainly feed on small mammals, amphibians, birds, small reptiles, invertebrates , eggs and fruit.
