Where Is Agastya Muni Ashram?

Agastya ashram
Agastya had a hermitage (ashram), but the ancient and medieval era Indian texts provide inconsistent stories and location for this ashram. Two legends place it in Northwest Maharashtra, on the banks of the river Godavari, near Nashik in small towns named Agastyapuri and Akole.

Where did Rama meets Agastya?

He also reveals it was Agastya Rishi, who brought Kaveri river from Brahmalok in his Kamandal. Later, Ram, Lakshman and Sita meets Agastya Rishi and seeks blessings from him. Rishi said since the day he got the news of the arrival of Lord Ram in Dandak forest, he has been waiting to meet them.

Did Agastya eat meat?

The kings were scared to consume the meat but Agastya told them not to worry as he would consume all the meat served to them and will spare them from eating it. He then consumed the meat dishes served to him and straight away digested the meat and said "Vatapi Jeerno Bhava", meaning let 'Vatapi be digested'.
