Where Is Ben Solo?

Now, in a new interview, Ridley has confirmed that there was never an alternate sequel trilogy ending in which Ben Solo and Rey lived happily ever after, perhaps settling down on Ahch-To in the remains of the Jedi Temple and starting a porg farm in Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) memory.

What happend to Ben Solo?

At the end of the Skywalker Saga's final chapter, he revives Rey (this is after she spends just about all of her energy defeating Grandpa Palpatine). Then, the two engage in some intense staring, followed by a kiss, and eventually, Solo dies, his body disappearing as he floated away to wherever Force ghosts go.

Does Ben Solo die?

Ben Solo dies after he and Rey are stripped of their energy by the Emperor and he makes the decision to heal her, sacrificing his own life so Rey might live on. This act of selflessness is the final act in Ben's redemptive arc: his decision is near instinctive, a sacrifice of pure goodness without expectation.
