Where Is Kusum Sarovar?

Kusum Sarovar is a sacred water reservoir with a historic sand monument in its backdrop. It is situated on the holy Govardhan Hill between Manasi Ganga and Radha Kund in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Why is Radha called Kusum?

It is believed that Radharani (the love interest of Lord Krishna) used to come to this place to collect flowers, and thus, the name comes - Kusum, which stands for flowers and Sarovar for the pond.

Is Radha Kund open?

Radha Kund remains open all days of the year and devotees can visit the place anytime from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
