In 2004, Fisher shot one last show, as a guest on Bob Izumi's Real Fishing. The show (filmed at Ennadai Lake in Nunavut) was prophetically titled "Red's Last Cast." Fisher landed a large pike on camera, then later that night, hung his rod and reel above the lodge's bar and said he would never fish again.
