The Great Forest Park Balloon Race, presented by PNC Bank, has its sights set on returning to Forest Park for the 49th annual event, Sept. 17-18.
How do you play the balloon race?
The pair must walk carefully to and around the pylon and come back to the starting line without popping or dropping the balloon between their backs. When they return to the starting line, the next pair will start. Once everyone has had a turn they will sit down. The first team to finish the relay wins.
How does a virtual balloon race work?
How does a virtual balloon race work? Set the start & finish dates. Balloons move a random distance every hour between these dates. When the race is over the balloons stop moving and you have a winner.
