Which Is Better Culebra or Vieques?

In general, Culebra makes a better day trip: it's size (and optional group tours) make it easier to experience in a short amount of time. Vieques requires an overnight in order to experience the bioluminescent bay; if you can't spend the night, it might be better to save it for a time when you can.

Is Culebra worth going to?

If you are looking to experience a laid-back island getaway, it doesn't get more laid back than Culebra. Culebra is great for a day visit or a weekend getaway. However, keep in mind that this little island is all about the beach and relaxation. There is not a lot going on after hours.

Is Vieques worth visiting?

Despite the fact that I'll be talking about things I love and hate about Vieques in this post, overall I think that this rugged, tropical island in the Caribbean is 100% worth visiting.
