Henry Cejudo was born into a family with seven children. He has an older brother, Angel Cejudo, who won the Dave Schultz Memorial International freestyle wrestling tournament on February 5, 2008.

Henry Carlos Cejudo (born February 9, 1987) is an American professional mixed martial artist and freestyle artist.

He is also the former bantamweight champion and UFC flyweight champion.

The professional mixed martial artist is the fourth UFC fighter to win and defend titles in two different weight divisions.

At 21, Cejudo became the youngest American Olympic gold medalist at the 2008 Summer Olympics in wrestling.

Furthermore, he is the only person to have won both the UFC title and the Olympic gold medal.

The wrestler has also won multiple Pan American Continental and US National Champion titles.

Henry “The Messenger” Cejudo was born to Mexican immigrant parents, Jorge Cejudo and Nelly Rico. He grew up with six siblings.

Angel “Pablito” Cejudo is an American freestyle wrestler and a wrestling coach. He started wrestling at an early age.

He wrestled throughout high school and went undefeated with a record of 152-0, winning four state championships.

After high school, he found himself at the Olympic Training Center, where he started focusing on freestyle wrestling and international competition.

He featured in the FILA Junior Freestyle World Team and the US winning team at the Dave Schultz Memorial International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament.

Soon after, he entered the US Olympic trials and trained with his brother, Henry Cejudo.

Moreover, Angel joined the Army in 2009, wrestled for the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), and won bronze at the Military World Championship.

Henry “The Messenger” Cejudo took his Instagram to reveal his sister Gloria Cejudo’s battle with cancer. Gloria has been struggling with stage 4 cancer, but the origin of the tumor is unknown.

The professional wrestler asked his fans to pray for his sister’s recovery through his Instagram.

His Instagram post read, “Hey guys, I just want to ask for your prayers for my sister Gloria Cejudo, who is battling stage four cancer. It’s been challenging for the family as we don’t know where the origin of the cancer is coming from. I just ask that you keep us in your prayers. ??????”
