Paul Michel Glaser was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on March 25, 1943. The American citizen was born to his parents Dorothy and Samuel Glaser as the youngest of the three children.
His father was an MIT graduate and a recognized Boston architect who designed a shul (synagogue) in Rhode Island. Paul and his two older sisters grew up in Brookline and Newton, where he was raised a Jewish.
He attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols School until 1961, when he transferred to the Cambridge School of Weston to complete his high school.
After high school graduation, the personality enrolled in Tulane University, majoring in theatre and English with a minor in architecture, graduating in 1966. Paul furthered his studies, earning a master's degree in fine arts from Boston University in 1967.
