Four years after Intel Corporation acquired Israel’s Mobileye for over $15 billion, the semiconductor giant said Tuesday that it was planning to make its Jerusalem-based subsidiary, a world leader in self-driving technologies, a public company in 2022 at a valuation of approximately $50 billion.

Intel announced that it will take public its self-driving technology company Mobileye, the Israeli company it acquired for $15.3 billion in 2017. The chipmaker said that by listing Mobileye’s shares on the stock market, it hopes to unlock more value for Intel’s shareholders.
What happened to my Mobileye stock?
All shares of Mobileye previously held as of April 26, 2018 have now been transferred by operation of law to Intel in accordance with the ruling of the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam. Funds for payment of such shares have been transferred to the Dutch consignment office.
