Why 90 Minute Ipa?

90 Minute IPA (9.0% ABV): The brainchild of Sam Calagione's continual hopping innovation, the process provided a beautiful balance to this Imperial IPA – allowing the addition of a foolhardy amount of hops throughout the boil without making 90 Minute crushingly bitter.

Why is it called a 90 Minute IPA?

Sure enough, the vibrations caused the pellets to vibrate down the game and drop into the beer a few at a time over the course of the 90 minute boil, continuously hopping the beer just as I had seen the chef continuously add pepper to his soup, and that's how 90 Minute IPA was born.

What is the difference between 60 minute and 90 Minute IPA?

The 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped for 60 minutes during the boil. The 90 Minute IPA is hopped for 90 minutes during the boil, and the 120 is hopped for 120 minutes. The other big difference between the 60 Minute IPA and the other two beers is that the 60 Minute IPA is not dry hopped.
