Lucifer was meant to save the souls in Hell, helping them find redemption and release their guilt. He managed it with Dan (more on that in a moment) and he managed it with Rory. Without Rory helping him realize his calling, he’d never go to Hell to help the souls down there.
Does Lucifer go back to Hell and come back?
