Why Did They Kill Reade on Blindspot?

The action picks up a few months after the drone attack, but flashbacks revealed that Agent Edgar Reade (Rob Brown) died to ensure Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) survived the explosion.

Do Zapata and Reade get together?

Reade and Zapata finally get together as they realize that there will be no perfect time. Ironically, the drone strike happens, and they managed to get underground right before it strikes.

Why did Zapata get fired from CIA?

Though Roman's plan fails, the team now has enough to arrest Crawford. But in their investigation, the team also discovers that Zapata (Audrey Esparza) stole the phone of one of the leaders, under CIA orders — except Keaton throws her under the bus and she gets fired. Hence, she's no longer able to work with the team.
