Why Do I Need an Administrator?

Why do you need admin rights?

Network admin rights enable users to delete network files, possibly removing business critical data, resulting in problems for the organization and time needed to recover backups. Copying and sharing data, including software files, raises security and compliance issues.

How do I get a program to stop asking for Administrator permission?

You should be able to accomplish this by disabling UAC notifications.

  1. Open Control Panel and make your way to User Accounts and Family SafetyUser Accounts (You could also open the start menu and type “UAC”)
  2. From here you should just drag the slider to the bottom to disable it.
