Why Doesn't Our Ghost Have a Name?

It's like having a friend you hang around with all the time, but only refer to them as “human.” As players we don't even interact with each other's Ghosts, so giving our Ghost a name shouldn't really cause any issues.

It just seems odd that our ghost doesn't have a name but osiris' ghost does. Do other ghosts also have names that aren't ghost?

What was Cayde's ghost's name?

Well, thanks to Curse of Osiris and the final messages from Cayde, we know the names of their ghosts. Ikora's ghost is know as Ophiuchus. Cayde's ghost is known as Sundance.
