Why Empty Cache Safari?

When you clear cache on Safari, it can free up storage space and help your system run faster. In addition to cache, you may also want to clear cookies and browsing history on Safari.

Does clearing Safari cache delete tabs?

In most browsers, clearing the history leaves currently opened tabs untouched. In Safari on iOS however, the only method of clearing the history I know of is Settings → Safari Clear History and Website Data, which also closes all tabs.

Why should you clear cache?

Your apps and web browser store bits of information to speed up your experience using them. Over time, your phone may collect a lot of files you don't really need. You can clear out the files to free up a little storage space on your device. Clearing cache can also help with website behavior issues.
