Masson Mills Working Textile Museum will be closed for the foreseeable future due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. Our policy is to adhere to all guidance issued by Public Health England and the decision to close the museum has been made in the interests of public safety and the safety of our staff.
When did Masson Mills close?
It closed as a mill in 1991 and over the next eight years, a plan was developed to create a £4 million scheme to restore the 18th century Derbyshire textile mill and turn it into a heritage centre and shopping complex.
