Do I need to update sync in my Ford?
If your vehicle is equipped with SYNC 4/4A, it will automatically update via Ford Power-Up software updates and there is no action required on your part. For all other SYNC versions, please enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) below then select Check for updates.
Why is Ford discontinuing sync?
Why was SYNC Services discontinued? SYNC Services relied on technology that is no longer being supported. While this technology was useful when the feature launched, it is no longer the best way to support owner needs. We will continue to focus efforts on new technologies.
