Will a Potato Draw out a Boil?

Rich in iron, calcium, vitamin B and C, phosphorus and magnesium, potato is an effective remedy for hat boils. Clean a potato and grate it. Squeeze out the juice and dab it on the boil and the surrounding area. Soak the boil in the potato juice.

How do you get a boil to pop?

Apply warm compresses and soak the boil in warm water. This will decrease the pain and help draw the pus to the surface. Once the boil comes to a head, it will burst with repeated soakings. This usually occurs within 10 days of its appearance.

How long do you leave a potato poultice on?

Sprains, inflammation: finely grate raw potatoes, wrap in gauze and place over the affected area. If you wish, you can wrap another cloth around it. Leave to work for approx. 10 - 20 minutes, repeat as required.
