Will Fix a Flat Stop a Bead Leak?

Fix-A-Flat may work for a nail hole in the tread area but I doubt it will help at all for a bead/rim leak. Spinning wheel slings the stuff to the inside of the tread area AWAY from the bead/rim where the leak is.
