Will Parallel Lines Intersect?

Parallel lines are lines in a plane that are always the same distance apart. Parallel lines never intersect.

Will parallel lines ever meet?

Parallel lines do not meet at a point. This section of Wikipedia worth a lot here: In geometry, parallel lines are lines in a plane which do not meet; that is, two lines in a plane that do not intersect or touch each other at any point are said to be parallel.

When can parallel lines intersect?

The point at which the parallel lines intersect depends only on the slope of the lines, not at all on their y-intercept. In the affine plane, a line extends in two opposite directions. In the projective plane, the two opposite directions of a line meet each other at a point on the line at infinity.
