Will Polyurethane Stick to Vinyl

The vinyl still needs the additional adhesive which outdoors stickers have. Polyurethane will work better on some surfaces than it will on others so always test it on the material you will be working on first. Ideally, print off a smaller vinyl and apply this to your surface and add the polyurethane.

Can I use polyurethane on vinyl?

I believe you can. You just need to make sure do do it carefully. If you used permanent vinyl decals or if you do not plan on taking off your removable decal, paint a layer of polyurethane finish over the board with a medium-sized brush. Add one coat, let it dry for 24 hours or according to the directions.

Does clear coat stick to vinyl?

Vinyl graphics are much less expensive and can be applied by anyone. To keep the vinyl graphics looking good and to keep them protected, they can be sprayed with clearcoat paint. The clearcoat paint keeps the vinyl from peeling and makes the surface easier to keep clean.
