Will Romancing Shani Count as Cheating?

Shani only appears in this expansion, and outside of Yennefer and Triss, she offers the most in-depth romance available in The Witcher 3. Romancing Shani has no impact on the rest of the game and the other romance options that Geralt can pursue.

Can you sleep with Shani?

You can refuse to sleep with her, which I did, but Geralt still makes out with her without my input and never mentions Yen or Triss to her at all. In a previous conversation Geralt and Shani clearly mention the death of Radovid, which happens after your romance in the base game, so this is clearly after that.

Can you avoid kissing Shani?

Anyway, regarding the Shani scene, at least the game is consistent here, there is no option either to avoid kissing (non-romanced) Yennefer in at least 2 scenes.
