Sandra Oh isn't looking to return anytime soon to Grey's Anatomy to reprise her beloved role of Dr. Cristina Yang. Despite the many familiar faces that appeared during season 17 of Grey's, Oh exclusively revealed during E! News' Daily Pop on Aug. 20 that the medical soap opera is in her rearview mirror.

Is Christina coming back in season 18?

While she is still canonically alive and makes pseudo-appearances in the form of onscreen text messages, season 17's finale confirmed Cristina Yang will never return. Alex's and Izzy's returns in season 18 are even less likely than Cristina's. Both characters abruptly left the series in seasons 16 and 6 (respectively).
